Una grata sorpresa en el año 2006, fue sin duda la salida al mercado de esta caja de tres discos compactos, que de alguna manera sintetizan la extravagante y prolífica carrera de Jerry Lee Lewis. Además de que es la primera caja que Time Life Music le dedica al Asesino, se presenta en muy buen material, con un librito que cuenta toda la historia del mito y detrás de él. Ah, pero lo importante es la música: Se adicionan las primeras canciones que Jerry Lee grabara en 1952 en una feria: “Don’t Stay Away” y “New Orleans Boggie”, como una exclusiva que en su momento no se encontraban en ningún otro material, además de canciones en vivo nunca antes escuchadas de forma oficial.
También cuenta con el debut de la canción “Rockin’ Jerry Lee” de Elektra en formato digital. No están todas las canciones en orden cronológico, pero cada disco contiene un concepto, es decir, el primero revisa los años de Sun Records, el segundo los de Smash / Mercury y el tercero los años de Elektra, más las canciones nuevas. La calidad de sonido es insuperable (al menos con las canciones de 1952 se “limpian” lo más que la tecnología actual lo permite), por lo que esta caja vale cada centavo de su precio.
